Inside Alison Hammond’s close relationship with rarely seen son Aiden who she calls the ‘last real love of her life’
ALISON Hammond has called teen son Aiden "the last real love of my life".
The This Morning star, 47, rarely speaks publicly about her only child, but when she does it's always full of love.
Yesterday she paid tribute to the 17-year-old as he nears manhood, writing: "My baby is growing up so fast. Everyday I pray for him and he will always be the apple of my eye. My Aidan, My last Real love."
The tight-knit mother and son share the same birthday and their bond is undeniable.
It's possibly made even deeper by Alison's regret at not having a bigger family.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Alison shared a sweet montage of her boy to show just how fast he is growing up.
The video, which is set to an acoustic cover of Disclosure's Latch, features pictures and clips of Aiden as both an adorable toddler and a teenager.

He can be seen posing for the camera during a trip to the seaside while also working out in the gym.
Alison's followers were quick to comment on her sweet post, with her This Morning co-star Vanessa Feltz saying: "He is a credit to you and a handsome kind beautiful blessing. Plus his mum isn’t too shabby either."
Her fellow This Morning pal Josie Gibson gushed: "I love this so much! He's a real gentleman I bet your so proud you've done so well x [sic]."
Alison's fans have also shared their thoughts, with one writing: "He will always be yr baby Alison, mines 38 & I still treat him like a lil boy."
Another told the star: "Handsome young man Alison, he has a super kind Mummy too."
Alison gave birth to Aiden in February 2005, less than three years after she found fame in reality show Big Brother.
The Brummie telly presenter shares her son with her ex-husband, cabbie Noureddine Boufaied. The couple divorced in 2014.
Last month, Alison told This Morning viewers that she would consider having a second baby following a segment on the ITV1 show.
Together with co-host Dermot O'Leary, the mum-of-one had spoken to a viewer who fell pregnant aged 50.
The lady named Shelly, who had called into the show, said: "I thought I was going through menopause and I found out I was pregnant. I already had a 20 year old and it changed my life so so much."
Alison replied: "Imagine going to the menopause and finding out you've had a baby? I'm 47 I thought it was the end of my time. I could have another baby."

She added, "That could be me," and then excitedly decared before the commercial break: "I'm having a baby."
Once back on air, Dermot joked: "Congratulations Alison, such good news and announcing it here - what a scoop."
