WHERE'S REID?

Good Morning Britain fans baffled as Susanna Reid vanishes from screens and Richard Madeley hosts with big name co-star

SUSANNA Reid's fans were baffled today when Richard Madeley appeared on Good Morning Britain - but she didn't.

The 51-year-old star was replaced on the show by another of the show's big names, Kate Garraway.

One Reid superfan posted a crying emoji on Twitter, writing: "Where my susanna?"

Another asked Good Morning Britain: "Wtf is going on. No Susanna but Richard."

Kate normally presents GMB on Fridays with Ben Shephard while Susanna fronts the programme with Richard for the rest of the week.

The star is thought - in common with many of her ITV daytime co-stars - to have been given the Easter break off work.

Susanna has three sons - Sam, 20, Finn, 18, and Jack, 17 - with former sports correspondent ex Dominic Cotton, who she split from in 2014.

Elsewhere in the schedules, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are getting two weeks off from This Morning.

Friday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary are due to take over for the whole week starting from today.

They will be followed by stand-in presenters Josie Gibson and Vernon Kay, who will cover the following week from April 11.
