Strictly’s Anton Du Beke WILL return as judge – sealing Bruno Tonioli’s departure
STRICTLY star Craig Revel Horwood has confirmed Anton Du Beke will be waltzing back as a fellow judge — sealing Bruno Tonioli’s departure from the show.
We revealed in February Bruno, 66, who was ruled out of last year’s series by Covid restrictions, was to be permanently axed.
Speaking at his stage show, Craig revealed bosses had told the judges that replacement Anton, 55, would be back on the panel this autumn.
He said: “I really love Anton. I think he is fantastic. I think last year he did a great job on Strictly as a judge.
“And we have just found out he is going to do it again this year.”
Craig, 57, went on to admit that he did miss Bruno on the panel after 16 years together, saying they have been “great mates” since the very first Strictly series.
