Good Morning Britain viewers are all saying the same thing as Richard Madeley is ‘missing’ from breakfast show

GOOD Morning Britain viewers hoping to see Richard Madeley back on the show today were left disappointed.

Despite the presenter normally having Thursdays off, the 65-year-old only worked two days this week as he was replaced by Martin Lewis yesterday.

Susanna Reid was joined by Thursday host Ben Shephard

After noticing he was "missing" from the breakfast show again today, fans asked where he was - and even threatened not to watch in protest.

But of course it was Ben Shephard's turn to take the reins alongside Susanna Reid on Thursday.

One said: "Time to switch off. Miss goody two shoes is fun to watch when hosting with a Piers Morgan or a Richard Madeley serious journalist but no fun whatsoever with another male goody goody."

"Where is Richard Madeley?", another asked.

Someone else wondered: "Why is Richard Madeley not on Good Morning Britain?"

But yesterday viewers were grateful to see guest host Martin return for a money-saving special.

Richard ended his working week early to make room for Martin, who impressed viewers with his passionate and helpful advice.

One person wrote: “How refreshing to see Martin instead of the tripe that’s Richard #GMB.”

Another added: “Quite liked having Susanna Reid flying solo without Richard Madeley talking about himself for the first hour.”

While someone else remarked: “What no Richard Madeley? Thank God for that!! I'll watch today. I love the programme but don't watch when he's on it.”
