NETFLIX fans all have the same complaint as Sex Education star Asa Butterfield’s fronts a new horror movie trailer.

The 24-year-old actor is best known for playing Otis Milburn in the hit Netflix series.

But now Asa has swapped comedy and teen angst for horror with the new thriller, which follows a coder named Kayla as she unleashes terror after starting up a video game from the 1980s.

Kayla is forced to make endless choices about people’s lives, and the results are horrifying.

Asa plays her friend Isaac and stars alongside Iola Evans who plays Kayla.

The cast also includes Ridley Road’s Eddie Marsan, Waterloo Road’s Angela Griffin and Robert Englund.

However, some Netflix fans felt it was very similar to another hit on the streaming service, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch.

One wrote: “Looks like the new black mirror and I’m not even mad. Guess I’m watching this next.”

Another added: “This movie reminds me of Bandersnatch and that went in directions I did not expect it to go. I love Asa Butterfield so I am definitely going to watch this!!”

A third shared: “Next level Black Mirror feels.”

Bandersnatch was released in 2018 and written by Charlie Brooker.

The interactive film saw Netflix viewers make decisions for the main character, played by Fionn Whitehead.

Meanwhile the full synopsis for Choose or Die reads: “After firing up a lost ’80s survival horror game, a young coder unleashes a hidden curse that tears reality apart, forcing her to make terrifying decisions and face deadly consequences.”

Choose or Die will premiere on Netflix on Friday, April 15, while Sex Education seasons 1-3 are available now.
