GEORDIE Shore's upcoming 10 year reunion series is in jeopardy as key members of the original cast are still refusing to sign up.

This comes as desperate bosses are offering them TRIPLE what they would usually earn for the show in a last-ditch bid to secure key names.

The original cast included Sophie Kasaei, Jay Gardner, Vicky Pattison, James Tindale, Greg Lake, Charlotte Crosby, Gaz Beadle and Holly Hagan.

The Sun can exclusively reveal that Vicky Pattison, 34, Gaz Beadle, also 34, and Greg Lake, 37, who were all part of the show since day one, are holding out.

"MTV bosses want all the original cast to be part of the reunion special, and they are doing everything they can to make that happen," says our insider.

"They're so desperate, they are even offering to triple the salaries they normally offer to ensure a massive payday.

The problem is, Vicky, Gaz and Greg still aren't committing. They feel they have moved on from the series."

Vicky quit the show in 2014 after three years, Gaz bowed out after fifteen series in 2017, while Greg called it a day after just one series back in 2012.

The series, which is expected to film in an exotic locale of Colombia, is hoping to get thirty cast members who have starred in the show over the years.

The likes of Charlotte Crosby, Scotty T, Chloe Ferry, Holly Hagan and Marnie Simpson have all signed on the dotted line already, but producers want all the originals involved.

The source continued: "The crew have visited the homes of those who are still holding out and put the big money offer on the table.

"They have even offered to reduce the amount of filming days the cast have to do in order to make it seem like the most attractive proposition. It's basically less work for more money."

An MTV spokesperson said: "We don’t comment on rumour or speculation";.

Earlier this month, The Sun reported that the reunion special was already on thin ice after filming was postponed.

The cast didn't fly to Colombia as planned as filming dates were shelved, but production insisted they had simply been moved.

This left many of the stars concerned that the show may not go ahead at all.

The Sun learnt that much of the chaos was caused by rows over filming, quarantine stipulations and phones.

A mole revealed: “There have been issues around Colombia and the cast have been rowing with producers over quarantine stipulations and having to have their phones taken away.

“The ten year anniversary was meant to be a massive celebration but it’s just turned into an almighty headache.

“Right now no one knows if they’re coming or going.”

A TV insider insisted the show would be going ahead and said: While filming is postponed for the moment, MTV is still planning to do it- and when it does happen they expect it to be absolutely epic.
