Laura, 39, told her following how her children would "always come first" as she had put her life on hold to be with Rocco in hospital.

Showing her holding tightly onto her son's arm, which had a drip placed at the elbow and kept there with a teddy bear plaster, she explained it had been an "interesting" few days.

"The last few days have been interesting to say the least," Laura wrote under the snaps, which also included Rocco's heart monitor.

"Being a Mum is THE most important job in the world and no matter what Rocco and Tahlia will ALWAYS come first.

"This brave little boy has been through it over the last few weeks and I just want to thank the NHS for helping him get better."

Fans immediately rushed to the comments to wish the youngster better, including Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw and fellow APITS presenter Danni Menzies, who wrote: "Sending lots of love."

It's been a busy few weeks for Laura, who has been transforming her new house and garden after buying a HUGE property for her family.

Laura shockingly split with her husband Alex Goward this year after admitting they were on "different paths" in their lives.

The property expert seems to have gotten over her "overwhelming sadness" by throwing herself into working hard on a new property.

She moved out of her old family home in Purley, which she shared with her kids Rocco, and Talia, six, and into the new Surrey mansion.

After moving in this month, Laura told OK! magazine that her new place was already "feeling like home".

"When I walked through the door, it felt like coming home," she said. ""I knew from the moment I first saw it. It has such a lovely feeling about it. I do feel like this is my little place in the country."

The star opened up that the renovation reinstated her love for "buying places and making them beautiful", as she did before her TV career.

While so far the home has been repaired and upcycled for the family to move in, Laura has bigger plans for the Surrey mansion.

She concluded to OK! that she hoped to put in a double-storey extension for two more bedrooms, and a gym.

Laura revealed she had bought a new home back in January, sharing new snaps of the building to her Instagram page.

Laura's fresh start comes after she announced her shock split from Alex, after 13 years together.

She married insurance broker Alex in 2012 - three years after they started dating.

Revealing her break-up, Laura said: "This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.

"Our children are and always will be our number one priority and we would respect privacy for our family at this time."
