How does Romeo and Duet work?
Romeo and Juliet is a seven-part prime time series based on romance and music.
The singers will have the chance to sing one song to entice a singleton down for a balcony. They can hear, but they can’t see.
Only then will the two come face-to-face for the first time.
The newly formed couple will then venture off on a duet-date to learn a song together, before returning later in the show to perform.
This ultimate romantic love battle singing competition will be against the other couples in order to be crowned the winner of the series.
Who will appear on Romeo and Duet?
Dancing on Ice judge and former Strictly pro dancer Oti Mabuse will host the ITV show.
She told ITV: “I’m so excited to be part of Romeo & Duet. It’s always been a dream of mine to host so this is a real pinch me moment, and it’s a blessing for me to finally be able to share this news.
“I honestly can’t wait to get started! It’s about love with a little bit of a twist and showcase of talent, it’s fresh and fun, and I hope everyone’s going to love it as much as I do.
