How to apply for Romeo and Duet
Sadly, applications for the new ITV matchmaking series has closed.
However, depending on the success of the first show, it could be renewed for a another season.
The mysterious show was open to anyone who is single, age over 18 and is a UK resident.

Applications closed on February 4, 2022, where you would fill in an ITV form
An advert on the ITV website reads: "Can your singing win you a date? Are you sick of singing solo? ITV's brand new dating show Romeo + Duet is looking for fabulous, singing singles to take part in a new show."
The new series is set to broadcast on ITV and ITV Hub later this year.

What is Romeo and Duet?
Romeo and Juliet is a seven-part prime time series all about love and music.
The singers get one song to entice a singleton down for a balcony. They can hear, but they can't see.
Only then will the two come face-to-face for the first time.
The newly formed couple will then venture off on a duet-date to learn a song together, before returning later in the show to perform.
This ultimate romantic love battle singing competition will be against the other couples in order to be crowned the winner of the series.

Who is the host of Romeo and Duet?
Dancing on Ice judge and former Strictly pro dancer Oti Mabuse will host the ITV show.
She made her presenting debut after appearing as a professional dancer on Strictly since 2015.
She has won the show twice, with Kelvin Fletcher in 2019 and Bill Bailey in 2020.
After seven years as a professional dancer on the show, the 31-year-old announced that she is leaving Strictly.
Oti's exit follows her joining the Dancing on Ice judging panel, and now hosting Romeo and Juliet.

Speaking at the time of her announcement as the judge of the series, Oti said:"I'm so excited to be part of Romeo & Duet.
"It's always been a dream of mine to host so this is a real pinch me moment, and it's a blessing for me to finally be able to share this news. I honestly can’t wait to get started!"
