WORLD renowned chef Gordon Ramsay is back on our screens for his new cooking competition Future Food Stars.

He will be offering £150,000 of his own money to the winning food and drink entrepreneur.

When does Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars start on BBC?

Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars kicks off TOMORROW on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 9pm on BBC One.

New instalments will air weekly, with all episodes available to stream via BBC iPlayer.

There are eight episodes in total.

The first episode will see Gordon invite the foodies to Cornwall, where they will face their first high-pressure challenge.

They must work in teams to run food shacks on the beach, using only the finest local produce.

Those who fail to impress the chef will have to leave the competition.

What is Future Food Stars?

Future Food Stars follows a similar format to The Apprentice with Lord Sugar.

Each week the contestants will battle it out in hopes of winning investment for their business.

This life-changing investment will be a whopping £150,000 of Ramsay's own money.

Speaking about the show, Ramsay said: "Future Food Stars is about finding some of the most exciting, emerging food-and-drinks businesses that have been created in the UK.

"Especially on the back of the devastating two years with the pandemic, Future Food Stars will give someone the chance to focus and develop some exciting business ideas that have the potential to absolutely explode over the next 18 months."

Who is in the line-up?

Twelve new food and drink entrepreneurs will fight it out in an intense competition for Ramsay's investment.

Each week the candidates will be pushed to their limits through a series of tough challenges inspired by Ramsay's highly successful career.

A teaser from the BBC reveals: "Gordon’s always been at the cutting edge of the food industry, and he's prepared to put his money where his mouth is by backing the winner with an investment to take their idea to the next level."

"This isn't a man who suffer fools, and Gordon will push all 12 candidates to their limits through a series of relentless challenges inspired by his highly successful career.
