Simone, 26, is set to portray newcomer Kate Sharma, who will catch the eye of the courting Anthony, played by Jonathan Bailey.

The young Lord, who is the eldest of the Bridgerton clan, was left broken-hearted last season when he was dumped by Siena.

Now, the Lord has his eyes set on Kate, who is just one point of the love triangle front and centre in Bridgerton series two, out on Netflix today.

Simone was cast as Kate - a headstrong newcomer to London - following her starring role as Olivia Hanan in Netflix's Sex Education.

When she's not busy filming, the actress enjoys time at her stunning home - which is filled from top to bottom with greenery.

Frequently taking to social media to show off the space, Simone has revealed her light-filled kitchen, with its huge window panes.

The dining table sits in front of the huge windows, decorated with smaller plants and flowers, as well as a fruit bowl and trinkets.

Upstairs, the actress has a freestanding bath tub in a spacious bathroom, which has its own balcony with plant pots outside.
