Their walk around in the sunshine was a nice break from the intense filming they've been doing for the show.

As viewers will you, Kelly was recently struggling to look after her mum Laura, who was diagnosed with cancer.

Luckily Gary Windass and Maria Connor offered a place for Kelly's mum to stay so that the three of them could look after her during her last days.

However, recently, Laura became very jealous of the relationship that Kelly has formed with Maria, so she went out on a bender and got drunk.

Fortunately, Gary found her and sobered her up - but kept it all a secret from the youngster.

Although it didn't go to plan because Bernie Winter accidentally dropped her in it and said that she must have a hangover.

Kelly had a big row with her mum and asked her to leave, but Gary managed to speak some sense into her.

While this was all going on Maria was fighting her campaign to save the land that the children play on in Weatherfield.

But they are now going to build it in an old piece of land where Gary has has buried Kelly's dad.
