THE Chase fans have branded the show an "absolute fix" after contestants lost £27k in an "unfair" final round.
Host Bradley Walsh, 61, welcomed four more hopefuls to the ITV show, with remaining contestants Kyle, 31, Laura, 23, Mark, 50, going head-to-head with the Shaun Wallace.
The trio answered 21 questions correctly and stood a good chance of taking home the total jackpot.
But quiz genius Shaun fired through his questions, catching the team with just four seconds to spare.
Shaun congratulated them on their efforts, but sneaked in a cheeky snub, saying: “They played very, very well, but I was superb there.”
However, viewers pointed out that Shaun only won because the questions were remarkably "easy".

One said: “Absolute fix how easy the questions have been for him” as another wrote: “They’ve given Shaun the ‘Junior Chase’ questions!”
“Those questions were p*** easy in comparison”, but not everyone agreed with one fan writing: “Before anyone claims "fix" - can we just remember that the team's last question was about antihistamines counteracting histamines," another posted.
Someone else asked: "How easy are these questions?” as another wrote: “Shaun getting easy questions!”
Another added: "Quite possibly the easiest set of questions ever asked !!! I got 20 myself.”

Meanwhile, viewers were left very distracted by contestant Mark's outfit and likened him to a famous movie spy.
Mark honoured his Scottish heritage and wore a kilt complete with matching green velour jacket.
Complete with a goatee and dark framed glasses, fans watching at home couldn't help but think he looked a little bit like iconic character, Austin Powers.
Their observations were further cemented when Mark told Bradley he'd buy his mum a Mini Cooper complete with a Union Jack painted on to the bonnet if he won big on the show.
"This bloke looks like he should be in Austin Powers," tweeted one fan.
"Turns on #thechase see Austin Powers and comes straight to twitter to double check its not just me."
But Bradley couldn't resist asking a cheeky question about his kilt after Mark said he kept his phone in his sporran – the traditional pouch that sits at the front of a kilt and serves as a pocket.
