Will there be another season of Top Boy?

TOP Boy season 2 has only just dropped on Netflix, but fans already want more.

The fourth instalment of the hit series had a major cliffhanger at the end, and viewers want to know if the show will return for season 3.

Will there be another seasnon of Top Boy?

Top Boy originally aired on Channel 4 for two series between 2011 and 2013.

The show then eventually got picked by Netflix and a third season was released in 2019 with the latest season dropping in March 2022.

Sometimes the Netflix seasons are referred to as season 1 and season 2 as well as 3 and 4, interchangeably.

The streaming giant has announced that it will return for one final season of Top Boy.

Given the popularity of the previous two and the cliffhanger ending to to the latest season, fans were elated by the prospect of a return to Sully and Dushane's world.

What could happen in the final season of Top Boy?

Top Boy season 2 ended with a big character being murdered - Jamie.

So a fifth season would have to explore the aftermath of Sully killing Jamie.

With Dushane having told his former friend Sully that he was grooming Jamie to be his successor, he could seek revenge.

Also Jamie's brothers could also be seeking their own revenge on Sully for killing their sibling.

Though the show's latest villain, Liverpool gangster Curtis, didn't make it out of the fourth season alive, the rest of his gang escaped, with Sully warning them never to return to London.

But will they be back to seek retribution on pregnant Lauryn and her sister Jaq?

A fifth series will likely include all of the fan favourite characters.
