Emmerdale spoilers: Aftermath of Marlon Dingle’s devastating stroke revealed
NOTHING feels the same for Emmerdale residents following Marlon Dingle’s stroke.
Coming up, many characters of the ITV soap find it hard to cope knowing he’s in a bad state – especially Rhona and Paddy.
The eponymous village is shaken to the core in the wake of Marlon’s (portrayed by actor Mark Charnock) stroke horror.
After attempting to hide her heartbreak when seeing her fiancé in such a horrific predicament, Rhona (Zoe Henry) struggles with him but she’s not the only one.
Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) is also finding it hard to cope with Marlon’s condition and the pressure is too much for him to handle.
United despite many past feuds, the Dingle prepare a video to send to Marlon in hospital.

Worried he’s being fake, Paddy buckles under the pressure and records an inadequate message.
Meanwhile, Marlon has a meeting with his speech therapist in hospital and Rhona soon shows off her pushy streak as he agonisingly struggles to form easy words.
She pushes him a little too hard until a nurse intervenes and gently advises her to put less pressure on the village chef.
Noticing Rhona is at a low ebb, Parry vow to do better but fails to convince her.
But Rhona is also putting a lot of pressure on herself to be present for her partner and her mother Mary (former EastEnders star Louise Jameson) can’t help but worry about her.
This week, Marlon is taken to hospital after suffering from a stroke, a storyline praised by most Emmerdale viewers who believe it’s important to show that it can happen to anyone at an early age.
While getting engaged in a moment of pure joy after simultaneously proposing to one another, Marlon and Rhona’s happiness is cut short by the incident.
The former’s teenaged daughter April (Amelia Flanagan) is left with the crucial task of saving her father’s life.
The teen acts fast and calls for an ambulance – contributing to saving Marlon’s life.
But how will Marlon recover from his stroke?
