Bachelor fans cheer as Gabby Windey SLAMS Clayton Echard in angry face-off before becoming Bachelorette alongside Rachel

BACHELOR fans rejoiced tonight as Gabby Windey slammed Clayton Echard in an angry face-off before being announced as the next Bachelorette along with Rachel Recchia.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their love for Gabby after she told The Bachelor “you sound absolutely ridiculous” as he broke up with her just one night after convincing her to stay with him.

Gabby was furious after Clayton told both her and Rachel that he wanted to attempt to revive his relationship with Susie Evans and end things with both of them.

The live audience awkwardly clapped as they watched her tell Clayton: “I actually don’t know who you are at all.

“I’m p***ed because I spent the last two months away from my friends and family who actually give a s**t about me, and you don’t.”

She continued: “You asked me to stay because you were p****d because Susie left and your pride was hurt.”

Clayton told her: “I do love you, I do care about you” before Gabby cut him off, exclaiming: “That’s b******t!”

When Clayton asked if he could walk her out, she snarled at him: “No!” and walked herself out.

Fans flocked to Twitter to praise Gabby for the unprecedented move as host Jesse Palmer revealed that she will be the joint next Bachelorette along with Rachel.

One fan shared an image of the two Bachelorettes side-by-side and wrote: “The two most deserving queens”.

Another chimed in: “These two can single-handedly save this franchise.”

A third described them as: “My favorite couple so far”.

During part one of the explosive finale which aired last night, Clayton left remaining contestants Gabby and Rachel both sobbing as he told them that he was in love with, and he was intimate with, both of them.

But tonight, he ended his relationships with them as he begged Susie for another shot.

He said to Susie: “I’m asking you is there any way you can give me a second chance? I love you and I don’t wanna lose you.”

Although she rejected his Hail Mary proposal, saying: “I feel like it’s over”, Susie and Clayton shocked fans as tonight’s live finale came to a close.

The pair revealed to the studio audience that they reconnected after filming, and are now a couple – to the dismay of nearly all of Bachelor Nation.

Season 19 of The Bachelorette will premiere on July 11th and feature Rachel and Gabby as two Bachelorettes side-by-side for the first time in the franchise’s history.

Production on the historic new season begins next week – though it remains unclear how the series will move forward with two leads.
