After snatching the iconic pub away from Al Chapman, Charity (played by Emma Atkins) was perhaps expecting some gratitude from Chas (Lucy Pargeter).

Unfortunately, the landladies ended up bickering over their plans for the inn and their row escalated into a bitter and explosive fight in the village and during Liv and Vinny's party.

While they've been fighting, however, many residents around them are tired of watching them at each other's throats.

Marlon's horrific stroke is set to build a bridge between the Dingles, a clan known to hold family at the top of its priority list, despite the many fights and arguments that may erupt.

Next week, Charity pays a visit to Sam and Lydia Dingle and both encourage her to patch things up with Chas before she comes to regret it.

Lydia then takes a step towards Chas to give her some tough love and challenges her to be the bigger person and end her feud with Charity.

Chas eventually puts her pride aside and joins her family in the Woolpack.

Both her and Charity soon settle back into their routine behind the bar and all appears to be well.

But while Marlon is in hospital after suffering from a horrific stroke, life at the pub is difficult without him.

Charity and Chas eventually share a heart-to-heart conversation - with the former asking her cousin to move back into the pub.

Chas was fuming when Charity and her son Ryan Stocks bought The Woolpack.

Although the pub remained in the family, as the Dingles have reigned over it for several years, Chas was upset to see her authority challenged by Charity.

As mentioned above, this led to a confrontation after Chas constantly undermined Charity's plans for The Woolpack.

But can the warring landladies finally put their feud to rest and focus on more important matters?

How will Chas react to Charity's offer?
