Adam is in hospital after a horrible attack

Can Adam (played by Sam Robertson) and Sarah (Tina O’Brien) ever mend their marriage?

Convinced that he has been unfaithful to her with Lydia (Rebecca Ryan), Sarah kicked her husband out of their home.

In scenes due on our screens next week, she even tells Adam she has officially filed for divorce as she appears ready to cut all ties with him.

Later on, Sarah receives news from Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) that Adam is in hospital but is told that he’s no longer her problem.

Initially, Sarah refuses to pay Adam a visit, agreeing with Peter – but Carla (Alison King) quickly susses her out.

As fans have predicted and spoilers have confirmed, Carla is slowly but surely questioning Lydia’s honesty and urges Sarah to follow her heart to see Adam when he wakes up as she clearly still cares about him.
