Emmerdale spoilers: Moment Marlon Dingle suffers horrifying stroke revealed
LOVE triumphs for Rhona Goskirk and Marlon Dingle as the couple are ready to tie the knot.
But just as they are set on proposing to one another, the Emmerdale chef suffers a horrific stroke.
While some members of his family are unable to get along, amid a feud over The Woolpack, Marlon (played by Mark Charnock) has managed to find love again in the Dales, in the form of village vet Rhona (Zoe Henry).
After jumping through many hurdles, together or even at odds with each other, the pair are ready to take their relationship to the next level by proposing to one another.
In scenes due to air next week, the couple put their plans in motion and propose at the same time in a moment of pure joy.
Marlon dashes off to find the ring he left at Smithy, where he organised a party in honour of his other half.
Elated, he's soon troubled when his vision becomes impaired as he searches for the ring.
Marlon falls to the ground quickly after and realises he's suffering from a stroke.
