LOOSE Women's Ruth Langsford was forced to abruptly end an interview today after a guest in Ukraine had to respond to a terrifying air-raid warning.
The 61-year-old TV veteran was talking to Marichka Padalko when she was given a three-minute warning and had to go.
Marichka is a reporter for one of Ukraine's TV services broadcasting from a bunker just outside the capital.
She told Ruth: "I know we've been preparing for this interview for a long time but what we're hearing now is that there are air strikes just announced in the studio.
"I have three minutes only to get ready to fill in that's why I am here. Unfortunately I have to say goodbye and join you on another occasion."
Loose Women's Ruth urged her: "Please, please go. Be safe, you and your colleagues. We will try to get back to you if we can."

Addressing viewers she added: "That is the situation in Ukraine.
"That woman and her colleagues you saw, they are broadcasting outside the city of Kyiv because the four main channels are being blacked out.
"When one of them's blacked out they're trying to take over somewhere else. The sirens are going off, they don't know what's happening."
Marichka managed to appear again later in the programme so speak to the other panellists Janet Street-Porter, Kelle Bryan and Frankie Bridge.

Hollyoaks and Eternal star Kelle asked her what advice she would give viewers in the UK.
Marichka said: "Appreciate every moment you can spend with your family and all these nice and sweet things you talk about in your studio when I was expecting to join you on air.
"I mean just two weeks ago the things I was not happy about what were whether I lost enough weight or whether I look young enough of an age.
"Now this seems so senseless that I was even worried about this. We have much more appreciation for life.
