Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Starstruck final cancelled as Six Nations causes TV schedule chaos
THREE major ITV shows have been postponed for a week as the Six Nations wreaks havoc with the channel's schedule.
Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and the Starstruck final have both been postponed next week to make way for a rugby double-header.
Ireland will take on Scotland from 4.45pm on March 19 before France and England go head to head at 8pm.
It means fans of the entertainment shows will have to wait another week for their fill.
The bumper sporting weekend also sees the Dancing On Ice final disrupted on Sunday, March 20 as it makes way for the FA Cup quarter final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.
All three ITV shows have proved immensely popular this year with Ant & Dec on sparkling form, Dancing On Ice having arguably its strongest performances ever and Starstruck emerging as Saturday night TV gold.
On Sunday Paralympian Stef Reid was eliminated from Dancing On Ice in a skate-off with BMXer Kye Whyte ahead of the semi-final.

The judges admitted in any other series both skaters would have been strong enough to make it to the final.
Jayne Torvill was reduced to tears earlier in the show watching Regan Gascoigne perform a routine inspired by hers and Christopher Dean's "Barnum" performance from the World Championships in 1983.
He scored a perfect 40 - the third of the night - and Jayne, who performed the circus-themed skate 39 years ago, burst into tears.
The 64-year-old told him: "I mean we know that technically your skating has always been good, but tonight everything came together.
"The performance, erm, I'm getting emotional now."
Christopher leaned over and touched her arm, as fellow judge Oti Mabuse took over.
Oti said: "Oh I love to see that. Regan for a couple of weeks I thought you were on the same level but tonight, you were so technically good."
Regan was also in tears, and said: "This is insane. It's not just a skate, it's your life. It's amazing getting to recreate that.
"It was such an honour to get to recreate part of your life."
