Morning Live bacon sandwich row turns personal as Kym Marsh brutally tells Gethin Jones ‘we’re not friends’

A MORNING Live bacon sandwich row turned personal today as Kym Marsh brutally told Gethin Jones 'we're not friends'.

The pair present the BBC show together on a Monday and have built up a nice rapport.

However, they couldn't agree when it came to a segment about Briton's love of sauces and condiments, with Kym introducing it by saying: "Now some would say it's a crime to have brown sauce on a bacon butty..."

Gethin injected: "They would be absolutely right."

But Kym looked horrified as she replied: "Oh no! Wrong! I love brown sauce on a bacon butty."

However Gethin wouldn't budge and said it was "red sauce" before asking: "How are we friends?

Tilting her head to one side she replied: "Well we're not really."

As Gethin said "Oh", Kym burst out laughing and quickly added: "I'm joking, I'm joking!"

As Gethin also laughed, it was clear the pair were just having a bit of fun, despite their differing stance on what sauce should go in a bacon sarnie.

Meanwhile one viewer was totally on Kym's side regarding the debate as they tweeted: "Kym you’re so right! White bread/bun and HP sauce with bacon every time."

However, others were not as keen on some of the suggestions in the cooking segment, as one wrote: "No thank you to horseradish and mustard."
