A Place in the Sun viewers blast ‘time wasters’ after couple make shock U-turn

A PLACE in the SUN viewers were left seriously unimpressed after a couple decided not to place an offer on a single property.

In the latest episode, presenter Laura Hamilton was on a mission to find Paul and his partner Julia their dream holiday home in southern Tenerife.

Armed with a healthy budget of £180,000, the couple wanted to find a second home to escape the British winter.

However, Laura didn’t get off to the best of starts as Julia seemed very difficult to impress.

The first property Laura took the couple to was a two-bed villa priced at £179,000, but Julia didn’t seem too keen as she pointed out how small the rooms were.

Next up was a property that came with a private terrace, an outdoor shower and with fantastic views.

Julia didn’t like the thought of the spiral staircase, whereas Paul disagreed and said he really liked it.

‘TIME WASTERS’

Paul and Julia went on to love the three remaining properties – until they revealed all to Laura.

When they sat down with her at the end, the couple left the expert stunned when they told her they’d been back to view a number of the properties.

Laura told the couple it was “frustrating” they didn’t find their dream home, but remained positive about their future of finding what they wanted.

Following the episode, viewers took to social media to comment on Paul and Julia’s decision.

And many branded the couple as “time wasters” after they failed to make up their minds.

Alongside an emoji of an angry face, one person penned: “What a surprise. Time wasters. Boringly tedious time wasters.”

Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Most elaborate excuses on A Place in the Sun of all time.”
