Kim Kardashian praises boyfriend Pete Davidson as the ‘sweetest guy’ after Kanye West threatens comic in new video

KIM Kardashian praised her boyfriend Pete Davidson with a sweet social media message on Thursday after her ex Kanye West threatened him in a new video.

The rapper, 44, had been making threats against the Saturday Night Live comic for weeks, and he continued to do so in a more visual manner with the music video for his song Eazy.

After James Gunn worked with Pete on 2021’s The Suicide Squad, which the former wrote and directed and the latter starred in, he decided to share some of his feelings about the actor.

Both Kanye and the comic were trending on Twitter on Thursday after the rapper released his new video the day before, causing James to want to speak out.

He tweeted: “For the record, Pete Davidson is one of the nicest, sweetest guys I know.

“A truly generous, tender & funny spirit, he treats everyone around him with respect.”

As she’s made it known that she wants to keep her and Kanye’s personal issues as private as possible, Kim used a subtle social media feature to send some public love and support to her boyfriend.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum used the “like” feature on Twitter to show of her stamp of approval on the director’s sentiments regarding Pete and his true character.

Kim reserves this feature for only when it really matters to her, and this was her first “like” since January and only her second since last April.

Kanye dropped his new threatening animated music video on Wednesday, the same day his ex Kim was officially declared legally single.

In the animated video, he rapped about Pete as visuals onscreen acted out a violent situation.

Kanye raps in the song: "God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson's a**."

As the lyrics are said, the animation showed a cartoon version of Pete being "buried alive by Kanye," according to .

The video - which is mostly clay animation - also shows Kanye's character "dragging a lifeless body that is tied up by ropes with a bag over the head."

Once Kanye pulls off the bag, Pete's face is revealed as the rapper sprinkles rose seeds over his head.

Later in the music video, the Saturday Night Live star has roses coming from his head.

The flowers are then loaded into the back of a pickup truck.

The use of flowers is likely a nod to the the truckload of roses that Kanye sent Kim for Valentine's Day this year.

The music video ends by making one final jab at Pete.

Text onscreen read: "EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER / EXCEPT SKETE YOU KNOW WHO / JK HE'S FINE."

Fans slammed the new video on social media, calling for Kanye to stop with the threatening content.

One user wrote on Twitter: “ok but that new kanye video is scary.”

Another said: “That kanye video is terrible and terrifying.”

A third tweeted: “This is disturbing and goes beyond ‘art' and ‘self expression.’

“I hope someone gets Kanye immediate help!”

Earlier on Wednesday, TMZ confirmed Kim is now single following a court showdown.

Kanye - who was later seen in Miami in a hoodie and tracksuit that day - was not present, while Kim dialed in via video conferencing.

According to the outlet, Kanye's lawyer did not object to restoring Kim's single status.

However, the lawyer revealed Kanye had three conditions.

The judge granted the first condition, which was that "any right to get reimbursement of money was intended to be divided up will be preserved in case either of them dies."

The second condition - which the judge rejected - was that the reality star would not transfer any assets she had in trust.

Additionally, if Kim remarries Kanye wants her to waive the "marital privilege"- meaning that a new spouse would not have to testify about communications he had with her.

The judge also denied the rapper's final condition.
