Martin Compston reveals plans for Line of Duty reunion with ‘best pals’ Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar
MARTIN Compston reveals plans for Line of Duty reunion with 'best pals' Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar when he returns to the UK.
The actor, 37, has known the pair since taking part in the BBC show in 2012.
But moved to Las Vegas with his wife Tianna Chanel Flynn in 2019.
When he does travel back to England, he always makes sure he's got enough time to see his dear pals.
The trio chat regularly on their own WhatsApp group and have agreed that their next meet-up will include them doing their bit for charity.
Martin, who plays DI Steve Arnott on the show, told The Sun's TV Mag: "I’m patron of my local hospice in Greenock and I get home in two weeks and they’ve all agreed to reunite for a Q&A.
"So hopefully we’ll raise a few quid for the hospice next month.
"Jobs like that are so dialogue heavy and so intense that you need to have a laugh.
"We’ve been doing that for ten years now, they’re my best pals."
Martin also opened up about how close they've become over the years.
The star added: "Acting can be funny, in any job in our industry, crew and stuff, you become really intense and you become really close with people really quickly.
"Then the job can stop and you don’t see each other sometimes ever again or for years but for this (Line of Duty), we’re always coming back.

"It’s been ten years now they’ve been in my life. They were at my wedding and Vicky’s getting married and we’ll be there.
"We’ve been there for big moments in each other’s lives so it became a lot more than a job."
Last year the final episode of the sixth series FINALLY revealed the identity of ‘H’ - DSU Ian Buckells.
But fans were left devastated after creator, Jed Mercurio, told BBC Breakfast last year that there were “no plans” in the works for a seventh season.
However, back in January, Vicky, 38 - who portrays Kate Fleming - revealed what she knows about the rumours behind another instalment.
She told The Guardian: "I don't know, there's no word of it. I think we've all been really honest and said should that happen, we're all game.
"I'll just stick with the guys. I think when it comes to a close, it will be a natural close for us all."
And her response has left many with high hopes of a new season.
Since then, the trio have starred in a number of different shows.
Martin played CPO Craig Burke in BBC's Vigil, and is about to star in ITV's new drama Our House.
Most recently, Vicky, took on the role of Lana Washington in ITV's Trigger Point, which has just been renewed for a second series.
