What happened to Neighbours stars – from tragic death to fling with Friends star as final episode airs
IT'S the Australian soap with whacky storylines that have kept Brits on the edge of their seats for the past 37 years.
But now it has come to an end after discussions with Channel 5 broke down and the production team failed to find a new home for the beloved soap.
Neighbours served as a springboard for many of the famous faces we know and love today in the world of TV, film and music.
Big names to have emerged include Margot Robbie, Russell Crowe, Natalie Imbruglia, Kylie Minogue, Liam Hemsworth and Holly Valance.
But what about the rest of their A-list alumni? We look back at the soapland stars and how their lives have changed since their Neighbours debuts.
Dave Bautista: Marvel superstar
Dave Bautista is among the many Neighbours stars who have used the show to land massive parts across the pond in America.
Previously, the 53-year-old was a WWE Wrestler but after playing himself in the soap alongside wrestling fans Toadie and Callum, he got his big break.
He's appeared in the James Bond film Spectre, Blade Runner 2049, Guardians Of The Galaxy and other Marvel films.
Alan Fletcher: Rocker on the side
Love rat Dr Karl Kennedy has been a source of scandal in the show after a string of affairs and make ups.
Actor Alan Fletcher, 64, has played him for more than 25 years and vowed to stay on the show for as long as they would have him.

As well as more musical success, she's also appeared in movies like Johnny English and dated Friends star David Schwimmer briefly in the 1990s.
Natalie Bassingthwaighte: X Factor judge
Izzy Hoyland caused a stir when she caused issues with Dr Karl and his wife Susan's marriage - resulting in a bitter love triangle.

He appeared in the horror flick Wolf Creek 2 and the cast of Wentworth, which he has had a recurring role on for a year from 2018.
Rebecca Ritters: TV journalist
