Ex EastEnders star Kara Tointon looks worlds away from character Dawn as she glams up for red carpet
EastEnders Dawn Swann actress Kara Tointon looked completely different to the character that made her famous.
Kara looked chic on the red carpet of the star-studded Vanity Fair party in London.
The actress opted for a sleek black Filliarmi jumpsuit at the event to honour film, TV and broadcasting's upcoming stars.
Complete with a scalloped V shape neckline, sheer sleeves and flared trousers, the jumpsuit showed off Kara's toned figure.
Kara wore her hair in a bouncy side part and minimal silver jewellery.
Stylist to the star Kelvin Barron helped Kara put her sensational look together and described it as one of his favourites.
"One of my favourite looks with Kara to date," he wrote alongside a picture of the actress on his Instagram.
"This may just pip the post 🖤 I envisaged sleek and sexy with an element of cool, with vavavoom makeup and effortless with effort hair."

Kara posed with Brassic star Michelle Keegan at the exclusive event on Tuesday night.
Other big names in attendance included Nicola Roberts, Mimi Keene, Emily Atack and EastEnder turned Hollywood star Ben Hardy.
The , who played Dawn Swann in the BBC soap gave birth to her second son, Helly, in January last year.
Kara and fiancé Marius Jensen already share a two-year-old son, Frey and explained their son's name is a nod to Marius' Norwegian roots.
Kara told Hello at the time: "We found it had both Indian history and Scandinavian links."
Marius added: "The first Helly we found was an old Norwegian sea captain, from a place in Norway called Moss, a tiny little town where my grandmother is from. We looked him up and he was a big, bearded guy like myself and it sort of fell into place."
They also shared their son's middle names, including Juel, which is "a Norwegian name that sounds like Yule, as he is the perfect after-Christmas gift to us" and Parsell – the maiden name of Kara's mum who sadly passed away in 2019.
The actress previously dated her Strictly Come Dancing pro partner Artem Chigvintsev after they won the 2010 series.
Before that she dated Joe Swash, who starred alongside her in EastEnders as Micky Miller.
Kara left EastEnders in 2009 and after her Strictly stint has gone on to become a West End star.

Last year, she appeared alongside her former EastEnders co-star Tracy-Ann Oberman as the Duchess of Cornwall in the play, The Windsors: Endgame.
The soap opera, which was originally a Channel 4 drama, is a parody of the lives of the British royal family.
