I won £34k on Too Hot To Handle but haven’t spent a penny of it, says Harry Johnson
HE scooped £34,000 on Netflix's hit show Too Hot To Handle after falling for a beautiful blonde abroad.
But after leaving behind the luxurious villa on the Turks and Caicos Islands, hunky Harry Johnson admits he's yet to spend ANY of his jackpot winnings.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, the 29-year-old has opened up about his whirlwind relationship with Beaux Raymond, 24, and why he's not yet splashed the cash.
"I haven't spent any of it yet," admitted former tree surgeon Harry, who was handed £34,000 when Netflix released the show on January 19.
"But I'm going to LA on Thursday and I've heard it's quite expensive so I might have lost all of it by the time I get home...."
After filming finished in February last year, Harry's plans to spend his winnings were halted after he returned to England in lockdown.
But he's now looking to the future - and wants to invest in property.
"I'm thinking of keeping some for a deposit for a place," he said.
"I don't know where I'm going to settle yet, but I think I might move to London because there's a lot more opportunity down there.
"My manager says I can't keep living out a suitcase because he sees how stressed I get.
"It's a nightmare dragging it around and then everything I've ironed is a mess when I get it out."
Harry's thinking about living with a friend in Essex for now as he leaves behind his life working as a tree surgeon in Darlington, County Durham.
And as for the rest of his money, Harry plans to treat his family to a lavish holiday.
Harry and Beaux also planned to spend their winnings on a trip away together - despite their break up.
But hopes for a romantic breakaway with his co-star Beaux are on hold for now.
The couple confirmed they'd split on the Reunion Show weeks after winning the prize money, admitting they struggled with long-distance.
But last month they were seen getting close again in London as they reunited for the first time in a year.
Harry admits he felt pressure to make the relationship work - with a fan even claiming they'd "jump off a bridge" if they broke up.
"We're not together, but we're in a good place," Harry said.
"Everything happens for a reason and never say never, but it was so intense on the show.
"You get a lot of pressure from the fans and when you come out you have to deal with not being able to see each other. We don't know each other enough to dive into something like living together straightaway.
"I wouldn't say it's dead in the water because every time we see each other it's crazy, we have the same connection.
"I saw her for the first time after the show a year later and it was like we'd never been apart.
"I even bought into the love story again when I watched the show back.
"Even though it was genuine, you watch it edited together and you think 'why am I sat here on my own and not with her watching it'. It was such a weird feeling."
Despite their romance not working out, Harry and Beaux have maintained a close relationship with each other and the rest of the cast.
They all keep in touch on a group Instagram chat - and Harry is flying out to America for the first time this week to meet up with his co-star Stefan.
Back in the UK, he's been crossing paths with all three of the series' cast as he gets used to his new-found fame.

"It's been mental," laughs Harry.
"Going out and having people ask for pictures and stuff... It's been a whirlwind."
