The Sally Webster star and her partner Matt Evers lost in a skate-off with Olympic star Kye Whyte and Tippy Packard.

But fans of the ice skating competition were left fuming with the result.

Many took to Twitter to share their anger, claiming that the show is a "fix" because of the scoring system and that the wrong person went home.

One wrote on the social media platform: "Sally was robbed. Brendan or Connor deserved to go home."

Meanwhile another thinks that Phil knew Sally was going to be the sixth person to leave the show.

Another tweeted: "It’s a fix. Phillip practically waved her off before the votes were counted. 'We’ve tried booking you for ages. Have you enjoyed your time on the show? It’s been a pleasure having you here.' #DancingOnIce."

Speaking about her time on the show, Sally said: "I have had the time of my life. I've loved doing this show, it's been brilliant.

"Matt, honestly I couldn't have got through this without you, you've been such a strength to me.

"I'm going to miss you so much. We'll stay friends."

Sunday's instalment of the programme was a big night for Brendan Cole.

The dancer fought back tears as he got 10s across the board for the first time.

Singer Kimberley Wyatt also got her first 10, while fans thought Paralympian Stef Reid was undermarked after headbanger.

The Vamps star Connor Ball was rushed to medics after he took a nasty tumble with partner Alexandra Schaumann and her blade sliced his leg.

Rugby ace Ben Foden, TV star Ria Hebden, singer Rachel Stevens, Love Island's Liberty Poole, Happy Mondays legend Bez have also been voted off the show.

Kimberly Wyatt, Connor Ball, Kye Whyte, Brendan Cole, Regan Gascoigne and Stef Reid are the seven celebs left in the competition.
