Towie star Amy Childs shares incredible throwback as she wishes Peter Andre happy birthday
TOWIE's Amy Childs thrilled fans with an incredible throwback as she wished Peter Andre a 'happy birthday' on Sunday night.
The singer turned 49 over the weekend and old pal Amy took to Instagram to mark his special day.
The dad of four is pals with the busty beautician as they've shared the same management team, and Amy shared a snap of them taken at a black-tie event around ten years ago.
Singer Pete is dressed in a smart waistcoat and tie in the photo, while reality TV star Amy, 31, wears a glitzy bandeau dress and sports long wavy hair.
The Towie favourite shared the pic of them laughing together on her Instagram Story and said: "Happy Birthday to my good friend @peterandre Hope you have a lovely day!"
Mysterious Girl hitmaker Pete revealed their surprise friendship in an interview once, saying he tells Amy to call him "dad" referring to their 18-year age gap.
He said: “Amy’s cute, I’ve always said she’s very cute. But I always say to her, ‘Just call me dad’. We’ve always just been friends.”
He may be close to the star of The Only Way Is Essex but the star admitted he still doesn’t understand vajazzling.
He told Bang Showbiz in 2011: “I know what a vajazzle is but I still don’t understand the concept and I don’t understand why you would do it. I don’t get it!"
Last night, Peter also revealed the incredible birthday treat wife Emily and the kids surprised him with for his birthday.
He told his followers how Emily had chefs come to their house to whip up a seven-course birthday meal.
As the talented chefs worked away, Pete was on hand to make them coffees and he posted a clip of them preparing the food.
He wrote: "An unbelievable birthday surprise. Thank you to all involved in making this happen. Felt very spoilt. Swipe to see all 7 courses. I am full. @nishascookingagain you are an incredible chef."
Earlier in the day Pete shared a more sombre post as he sent his thoughts and prayers to the innocent people caught up in Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
He vowed to try and lift spirts as he celebrated his special day amid all the suffering.
Pete told his followers: “In our house today, what is planned to be a special day can’t start without acknowledging what is happening in the real world.
“It’s sad to wake up and continually see this and know that so many people are suffering. God only knows when and how this going to end.
“I’ll try to post only positive things here for the rest of the day. We pray as everyone does for all the innocent people.”
