As mum-of-four Stacey got ready to film for the Channel 4 show she revealed four-month-old Rose was with her in the makeup chair.

But the Loose Women star clearly wasn't used to being without her second youngest, Rex, two.

Posting a clip of her son, Stacey wrote: "On my way to Bake Off... Watching Rex videos. He makes me smile so much.

"Miss you already pickle bum."

Earlier this week chuffed Stacey took to social media to announce her news, saying: "I just saw that Bake Off posted, so I can finally say that the reason I've been going off and filming every few weeks is because I'm going to be presenting Bake Off the professionals this year.

"I was so excited when they asked me, I've filmed a couple of episodes and it's just been so much fun.

"Everyone is so lovely and I basically count them in and say 'ready steady go' and then I just eat cake all day.

"It's such a cool job, I love it so much. I'm just so excited about it, I can't wait to film the rest of it and I can't wait for you to see it."

Stacey also said that she was "nervous" to follow in comedian Tom's footsteps.

She added: "He's been so kind and helpful and we've filmed a couple of episodes and everyone's been so so lovely."
