Millionaire Danny Dyer says he’s ‘still paying off’ £120k wedding SIX years later despite being paid £250k on EastEnders
MILLIONAIRE Danny Dyer has complained that he's "still paying off" his glamorous £120,000 wedding after SIX years.
The EastEnders actor - who is rumoured to be paid a whopping £250,000 a year by the BBC for the soap - married Joanne Mass back in 2016.
Sitting down with his daughter Dani for another episode of their Sorted With The Dyers podcast, Danny, 44, detailed the huge wedding expense.
He joked that he was "still paying" off the bill of their £120k big day, which was packed with special touches requested by the couple.
Part of the huge bill was down to Danny and wife Joanne's cheeky choice of dessert - where they left a chocolate-piped message to guests.
The father-of-three tied the knot in the beautiful ceremony in Hampshire in 2016, alongside a string of close friends and family.
"You had mini pie and mash on sticks at your wedding, didn't you?" Dani, 25, could be heard reminiscing of the big day.
"Yes, and we had 'loved up to f***' on the plated in chocolate," the Mick Carter star added. "It was £120 a head, I'm still paying for it."
Following the huge bill, Danny admitted to his daughter that he couldn't understand why anyone would want "a big wedding day".
"There are so many politics when it comes to the wedding, you do make it more about everyone else than you," Dani piped up.
"Exactly," Danny agreed, concluded: "It's meant to be a celebration of your love... but all of a sudden it becomes about every other f***er."
Danny previously revealed how he spent a whopping £125,000 on his big day, after leaving his wife Joanne to the planning.
"We did a magazine thing. We got about £125,000 for it. She spunked the lot," he told The Jonathan Ross Show. "I was in debt at the end of it."
It comes after Danny slammed his daughter's exes for being "very controlling" as he launched an attack at Jack Fincham and Sammy Kimmence.
Speaking on the pair's Sorted with the Dyers podcast, Danny said: "I've always found with your boyfriends, they've never been a part of your friendship group.
"They were very controlling, and just wanted you all to themselves. So it was almost like you had to make a choice and in some cases between friends, parents, or him.
"I say him, I use these words very loosely."
