Emmerdale fans convinced Marcus Dean is evil like killer dad Pierce Harris

EMMERDALE fans are predicting Marcus Dean is more like his evil dad Pierce Harris than he claims after he returned to the village.

The newcomer - who is played by actor Darcy Grey in the ITV soap - was brought to the village by Rhona after her murderer rapist ex Pierce revealed he was dying in prison.

She helped find Marcus - but before she could reunite them he died.

Marcus then left the village, and Rhona didn’t confide in partner Marlon.

However this week it was revealed that Pierce had left Rhona and Marcus his estate.

And in tonight’s episode Marcus met up with lawyer Ethan to help him through the probate process.

They met up at the cafe where Marlon was putting on a pop up lunch and Rhona was serving.

But when Marcus walked in Rhona was horrified - and even more so when he went to sit down with Ethan.

As the pair began wrapping up the business of Pierce’s estate - Ethan asked him if he had anything else to ask him.

“Do you mean legally speaking?” replied Marcus as he began flirting.

But before they could flirt properly, Rhona interrupted asking if they wanted the bill, hastening them along.

Outside they continued flirting with Marcus promising to call Ethan.

But outside Rhona followed him and piled on the pressure to try and stop Marcus returning to the village.

He promised not to say anything - but got angry when she tried to stop him from visiting the village.

Fans are frustrated with Rhona for demanding Marcus stays away - because she won’t tell Marlon the truth.

But they think Marcus is hiding something more.

One wrote: "Marcus...more like his father than he cares to mention #Emmerdale."
