Another said: “Kate, your truly an inspirational beautiful women with the caring you do for your husband Derek, with him still battling the aftermath of Covid, I truly hope and pray he keeps progressing further with his recovery.”

A third added: “Hi Kate  – I greatly admire you and your strength during these truly extreme and turbulent times – your family and your qualities as an individual are far beyond any descriptive power – you and your family are in my thoughts always.”

“Kate you are incredible exceptional beautiful strong lady, your love for Derek and your children shine through the hard times that you have had to endure. I will be watching tonight your award winning documentary ( most likely with tears),” a fourth tweeted.

Earlier this month it was revealed Derek would die within three days if he’s left unaided without expert care.

Viewers will once again see the toll put on the couple by the former spin doctor’s crippling illness.

Kate has helped nurse her husband back to health and the programme will allow an insight into the daily grind of looking after frail Derek.

While he still requires 24 hour expert care, Kate continues to do a super-human amount of it herself.
