Emmerdale spoilers: Meena Jutla makes shock decision after visit from vicar Charles
PRISON awaits serial killer Meena Jutla after she was brought into police custody following her dramatic return to the Dales.
But following a visit from vicar Charles Anderson, the criminal makes a shocking decision in Emmerdale.
After a killing spree spread out into several months, Meena (played by Paige Sandhu) is about to face the consequences of her crimes.
However, and as many other serial killers before her, she won't go down without a fight.
In upcoming scenes, due on our screens next week, she makes Charles (Kevin Mathurin) the new target of her manipulative tactics.
Aware that her plea hearing is coming up, Charles is adamant on getting a confession out of her for her crimes.
He decides to pay her a visit at the prison but, as he tries to press her into confessing, he is caught off guard when she definitively admits that she did murder Andrea Tate, his former partner.
Charles struggles to hold it together in front of her, as Meena pushes his buttons by spilling every horrific detail about Andrea’s murder.
The conversation tortures Charles while he returns to the church but fellow vicar Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) gives him some wise words of advice and encouragement.
Charles has the idea of creating a support group to help those whose lives were affected by Meena and her actions.
He is encouraged when Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) agrees to participate, as the father of one of Meena's victims, Leanna Cavanagh.
ITV viewers know the GP was also sexually assaulted by evil Meena after a Christmas party.
The following day, Charles talks to Meena over the phone and informs her he won't be visiting her again as he decides to put the support group first.
Fuming, Meena bashes the phone receiver against the prison wall in a fit of rage as she comes to the realisation that her plan to manipulate Charles has fallen through.
But what will be her next move as she prepares for comeuppance?
How will the support group react when they learn Charles visited Meena?
Will she be punished for her crimes or will she be able to manipulate her way out of prison?
