How to apply for Garden Rescue on BBC One
BBC ONE'S Garden Rescue has returned to our screens for 2022.
But some viewers at home may be wondering how they can also be on the hit gardening show with Charlie Dimmock and the gang.
How do I apply for Garden Rescue?
As of February 2022, applications for popular series Garden Rescue are no longer open.
They reopened back in November 2021, but unfortunately closed again on closed again on January 31, 2022.
At the moment there isn't a date for when applications will open up once more.
But as soon as we know, you'll know.
It is possible you will be able to apply for the next season once this one has concluded.
When applications do reopen, here is the criteria you must follow:
- You have to be over the age of eighteen.
- You must be a permanent UK resident.
- You also have to show proof you have at least £3,000 to spare as the garden transformation is done out of your own pocket - but you do get a team of experts to help you transform your back yard for free.

How does Garden Rescue work?
Garden Rescue, produced by Spun Gold TV, sees garden designers compete against each other to build dream gardens for home owners across the country.
Each programme sees the team descend on a garden that is badly in need of a makeover.
The home owners have their own real-world budget that the garden designers must stick to.
The garden experts then produce designs while attempting to create a garden that fulfils all the criteria the home owner desires.
The home owner then has to choose one garden design to be built – the losing designer will have to work with the winning designer to bring the vision to life.
Popular garden expert Charlie Dimmock - who found fame on Ground Force - has been a designer on the show since its start in 2016.
She was originally up against the Rich brothers, Harry and David, before Arit Anderson joined in 2019.
The Rich brothers left the show in 2021, as Lee Burkhill joined.
Flo Headlam and Chris Hull have also joined as designers.
