FANS of The Apprentice believe they rumbled Amy Anzel's "sneaky" boardroom tactic before she was fired on last night's episode.

This week's episode saw the candidates travel to North Wales as they attempted to capitalise on the tourism market.

The hopefuls were tasked with running their own highland railway and quarry and zip line tours.

Lord Sugar's challenge hit both teams hard with one paying a high price for their tour tickets, while the other team's time was wasted trying to sell to the public.

But before they returned to the boardroom, viewers noticed how Amy had long avoided taking on the project manager role to avoid being in the firing line.

One penned: "@bbcapprentice #apprentice why is Amy still in, she pushes people to be pm as she feels perhaps they will be the ones fired at the end.

"Very #sneaky and not an attractive quality."

"Here goes #Amy throwing everyone under the bus , while doing absolutely f**k all #apprentice," another remarked.

A third commented: "Amy throwing another candidate under the project manager bus yet again #TheApprentice #apprentice."

Back in the boardroom, Lord Sugar, 74, accused Amy of dodging the role of Project Manager, despite her putting herself forward for the role in week two and acting as sub team leader on four occasions.

The businessman told her: "You're avoiding the spotlight the way that Dracula avoids sunbathing."

He then asked the former LA based businesswoman if she was an LA Dodgers fan in reference to the fact that she hadn't taken on the role of project manager.

In light of Lord Sugar's comments, viewers at home applauded the businessman for calling her "tactic" out.

Taking to Twitter, one delighted viewer penned: "SO GLAD he called Amy out on being a floater. LA Dodger #Apprentice".

"Good, I’m glad Lord Sugar is calling Amy and her smug face out ," another commented.

After the dressing down, Amy was brought back into the boardroom for the first time after her sales efforts failed to help her team's Welsh guided tour make a winning profit.

She was left stunned when Lord Sugar's famous firing finger was pointed at her instead of teammates Kathryn Louise Burn, 29, and Aaron Willis, 38.

Speaking to The Sun, Amy said: "I feel the firing was completely unfair and unjustified.
