Megan Barton Hanson promises ‘a lot of drama’ from Celeb Ex On The Beach – saying ‘I was on edge the whole time’
MEGAN Barton Hanson has promised viewers there will be "a lot of drama" in the upcoming series of Celeb Ex On The Beach - and confessed she "was on edge the whole time".
The reality star - who shot to fame on the fourth series of Love Island in 2018 - is one of nine famous faces in the original line-up for the MTV show.
Fans don't have long to wait as it's returning to our screens tomorrow night.
Megan, 27, has teased that the highly anticipated new season is going to be the best one yet - and the tension between all of the former flames got to her at times.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Megan said: "There was definitely drama and a lot of like, I was on edge the whole time.
"I think every time you see someone that you've been living with one of their exes would come in, and you see like the fireworks from that, how they was before, versus how they are when they come back off the beach.
“Like oh my god, everyone thinks that they're going to be chill about it. And they're so not when you're like confronted with your ex. So it was a little bit nerve wracking.
"Everyone's like, 'why are you doing this?' and I was like 'meet fit people in the sun... It's character building, I won't have my phone, I really get to switch off'.
"But yeah, it was a lot of stress at points."
Megan, who is bisexual, will be joined by the likes of Towie's James Lock, 35, Love Island co-star Kaz Crossley, 26, and Too Hot To Handle's Kori Sampson, 25.
RuPaul's Drag Race star A-Whora, 25, Geordie Shore's Nathan Henry, 30, and Married At First Sight Australia favourite KC Osborne, 32, are also taking part in the programme.
Megan has praised the new season for its diversity.
She told us: "I think it's just going to be so interesting because it's going to be like the first time in the show where there is like a mix of bisexual, gay, straight people.
"I think it's going to be a different dynamic and I'm so proud to be part of this one because I've said it for a long time about Love Island, that they need to do it, and there's always like excuses.
"So I feel like this is the perfect show to really show that diversity."
The beauty is no stranger to reality dating shows.
