THE Great British Menu's Ed Gamble lost a jaw-dropping seven stone after a teenage diabetes diagnosis.
Ed, 35, is a judge on the BBC cookery show alongside chefs Tom Kerridge and Nisha Katona.
The handsome comedian has spoken openly about his diagnosis with Type 1 diabetes when he was 13 years old.
However, his weight became a concern in his early 20s, leading him to take control of his health properly.
He told Entertainment Daily: "When I was 23 or 24, I lost a lot of weight and started trying to get on top of my lifestyle a bit.”
While some celebs would go on a crash diet or try out the latest fad, Ed took a more sensible approach to develop a healthy relationship with food and exercise.
He told the Daily Star: “I didn’t do a crazy crash diet. I just changed my lifestyle – stopped the binge eating, stopped boozing for a while – and it just fell off.
“Then I started getting into exercise and found I enjoyed it.”

Ed had tipped the scales at 19 stone, but over six months he managed lose seven stone, and has maintained a healthier weight for him ever since.
His decision to lose wait came from when he started getting a few more TV bookings.
“I thought it might be nice to shed a few pounds,” he explained.
Meanwhile, he addresses his condition in his live performances and even turned it into a comedy show, with his stand-up tour being called Blood Sugar!
Ed uses the revolutionary Dexcom G6 to monitor his glucose levels.
He explained that he felt “more in tune” with his condition once he started changing his unhealthy lifestyle.
