Emmerdale spoilers: Vinny Dingle accidentally proposes to Liv Flaherty

RELIEVED to see Liv Flaherty out of prison, Vinny Dingle plans a Valentine's Day to remember.

But one of his gestures backfires immensely after the Emmerdale character presents his girlfriend with a jewellery box.

Liv (played by actress Isobel Steele) has finally been released from behind bars after being accused of Ben Tucker's murder, another one of serial killer Meena Jutla's (Paige Sandhu) crimes.

While she adapts to life away from prison, she can count on her boyfriend's support.

With Valentine's Day approaching, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) is determined to make his other half feel special.

The couple spend their time playing video games together.

However, when Vinny gets a jewellery box out, Liv is mortified and misinterprets the romantic gift as a marriage proposal.

Disappointed to see his gesture being misunderstood, Vinny is upset to see Liv rushing off back to work.

But Liv running away could also be explained by her being overwhelmed.

Although she is away from prison life, the memory of Ben Tucker and the accusations weighing against her haunt her.

While in the Hide café, and prior to her date night with Vinny, she is shocked when a group of teenagers ask to take a picture with her, branding her "famous" for allegedly killing her brother Aaron's former boyfriend.

Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) refuses to let a defenceless Liv be intimidated and throws the teens out.

Unfortunately, this is enough to send Liv spiralling, which is only made worse by Vinny's accidental proposal.

Yet with Meena Jutla's return to the village, Liv could finally see her name being cleared.

Hellbent on murderous revenge, the evil nurse crashes Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher's wedding, trapping the couple in a sick and twisted game.

Gunning down anything standing in her way, more than one life could even be hanging in balance as the villagers will become increasingly aware that the serial killer is back to wreak havoc.

But could Meena be finally exposed for the entirety of her crimes, including Ben's murder?

Will Liv's name ever be cleared?

More importantly, could Vinny's faux pas inspire him and Liv to take their relationship to the next level?
