DANCING On Ice fans were fuming tonight after S Club legend Rachel Stevens was booted off the show.
The 43-year-old singer failed to make the grade with the judges and lost the skate-off with Kye Whyte.
As her bandmate Jo O'Meara looked on from the audience she said: "Thank you so much to everyone.
"It's so special for them to have been a part of it and to have shared it with them. I'd just had the best time, it's been amazing."
Referring to her pro skater partner she added: "I'm going to miss Brendyn the most."
But some viewers were less gracious about the defeat, with one fuming about the fact Happy Mondays star Bez, 57, had stayed on.
One tweeted: "I want to watch good skaters. Not clown acts like Sally and Bez.
"Otherwise no point watching. British public seriously have a problem when it comes to voting. Can't even vote right in a skating competition. Rachel and Kye didnt deserve to be in the bottom."

Another fumed: "Sorry is it just me - how is Bez still in but Rachel is out. He cannot skate. So unfair."
A third wrote: "How weird are the public that they would rather watch someone who can barely skate, let alone dance (Bez) than the beautiful graceful Rachel Stevens?"
Her departure came amid a night of high drama on Dancing On Ice as Stephen Mulhern took over hosting duties with Holly Willoughby.
Phillip Schofield was ruled out after testing positive for Covid last Monday and will also not be able to front This Morning today.
Sam Matterface was also not present to do the commentary after having to work on Liverpool versus Cardiff earlier in the day.
