EastEnders spoilers: Jean Slater spirals out of control as Stacey questions her doctors
STACEY Fowler is looking to build herself a new life with her own business and a new love interest.
However, when her mother Jean shows signs of erratic behaviour in EastEnders, the market trader shows concern.
Since her release from prison, things have begun to look up for Stacey (portrayed by actress Lacey Turner).
While she secured a job as Walford's Market Inspector, she quickly realised that the position wasn't meant for her after an intense confrontation with her former husband Martin Fowler (James Bye).
This led to her launching her own venture and she became the proud owner of new food van Stacey's Baps.
But there's more as Stacey finally moves on from her marriage with Martin (despite having remarried with Eve Unwin out of convenience) and rekindles with her former flame Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol).
Unfortunately, trouble is still looming on the horizon for the character.

In upcoming scenes of the BBC One soap, due on our screens next week, Stacey's mother Jean (Gillian Wright) spirals out of control.
Stacey opens up to her wife Eve (Heather Peace), unable to shake the feeling that something isn't right with Jean.
Eve tries to reassure her, while Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) claims that she's overreacting.
A frustrated Stacey then tries to contact Jean when she waltzes into the café.
Desperate to get through to her mother, Stacey eventually calls the doctor about her concerns behind her mother's back.
Rejoicing over a new romance, Jean's enthusiasm is cut short when she receives a call from the doctor.
This leads to Jean lashing out on Stacey for meddling.
While at the Vic, Stacey makes a step towards Jean and offers an olive branch.
EastEnders viewers are not stranger to Jean's mental health condition.
Since her first appearance in Albert Square, Jean has been known to struggle with bipolar disorder.
