SALLY Dynevor has revealed that Princess Anne warned her about Dancing on Ice as she presented her with an MBE.
Sally, best known for playing Sally Webster in Coronation Street, was at Windsor Castle on Wednesday to receive the honour.
As Princess Anne handed over the medal, the actress revealed that she's in the middle of a Dancing On Ice stint.
At that point, the royal couldn’t contain her thoughts on the ITV skating competition, calling the decision to take part “very dangerous".
Sally opened up about the encounter as she spoke to PA News Agency after the ceremony, first saying: "(The princess) was lovely”.
She revealed that Anne asked, “How long have you been in Coronation Street?”, to which she responded: “36 years”.
Anne felt that this was “a very long time”, and Sally agreed, adding that she has “enjoyed every moment of it”.
The 58-year-old shared that she also chatted with the royal about Dancing On Ice, which is when she issued the stern warning.

Sally told Anne it was lockdown that inspired her to take to the ice - “we’re just not getting any younger”, she said.
The Corrie star confessed that, even though it was already midweek, she hadn’t yet begun practicing her routine for this weekend’s installment.
However, she was heading straight to rehearsals after the ceremony, where she’d be meeting pro skater Matt Evers to perfect their moves in time.
Sally concluded by admitting she was initially convinced her MBE was a prank.
“When I got the email, I thought it was a hoax, I thought someone was playing a joke”.
