EASTENDERS legend Michael Greco has revealed he is desperate to make a comeback to the soap.
The Beppe di Marco actor, 51, has revealed he is keen to make a return to the soap after 20 years away.
He told : "Of course, I would go back if they asked me.
"My character is still alive after all – and I do miss it."
It comes after he broke down in tears on Loose Women as he spoke about his son Gianluca.
Michael became overwhelmed talking about the tot's seven-week stay at Great Ormond Street hospital.
He appeared on the ITV show today with partner Helen Harris and their baby, who was born in July.
Michael ended up describing himself as a "crying wreck" after breaking down while recounting his family's emotional story.
The youngster was born six weeks premature with gastroschisis, a rare genetic disorder when the baby’s abdomen does not develop fully while in the womb.
Speaking about how the hospital had saved his son's life he became tearful and was passed a tissue by Loose Women host Ruth Langsford.
He said: "When they picked it up on the scan six weeks previous to him being born the consultant said we've got to get him out because there's no movement.
"We were worried about being stillborn or anything like that. When he was born she didn't show the full baby, they just showed his head and shoulders because underneath was this whole thing..."
His voice breaking he explained: "I get a little bit emotional talking about it."
