BBC Breakfast’s Dan Walker left grinding his teeth as co-star Sally Nugent brutally brands him ‘second class’
BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker was left fuming as co-star Sally Nugent brutally branded him "second class" on Tuesday's episode.
The duo was joined by Nina Warhurst as they discussed the new postage stamps that have been introduced today, which include a barcode to track and trace deliveries.
The trio were handed a large stamp, both holding second class stamps while Sally's was a first class stamp.
Sally joked: "Have you been hiding something behind the sofa? What have you got?"
The pair then pulled out the huge stamps, with Dan commenting: "Look at this little beauty. It's a new stamp - you might not recognise this thing, though. It's got a barcode."
He went on to ask Sally: "Have you got one as well, by the way?"
His co-host then pulled out a first class stamp which shocked the Strictly star, who only had a second class stamp.
He asked: "Hold on. Why have you got a first class stamp and I've got a second class one? What are they trying to tell me?"

Sally cheekily replied: "Don't you think it's obvious?"
Turning to Nina, Dan demanded: "Are you responsible for this, Warhurst? What's going on?"
Nina showed fans her second class stamp and replied: "No, Dan Walker - I'm second class as well!"
"We're a team! You and me are a team!" Dan told her.
But Sally responded: "No!"
Nina concluded: "This is a big day in the world of stamps, we wouldn't want to miss it."
Earlier in the show Dan took a cheeky swipe at Sally suggesting she doesn't have her 'finger on the pulse' when it comes to staying up late to catch the sports news.
