THIS Morning viewers were full of sympathy for Stephanie Davis today as she recalled her horrific stalker ordeal.
The actress told how jailed Alex Boston caused her to have panic attacks and left her feeling like she was in a horror film as he skulked around her home and sent her letters.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Poor Steph Davis is a bag of nerves. You can see it in her body language on @thismorning poor lass. #StephanieDavis#stalker."
A second posted: "Sounds scary what Stephanie went through… what a weird bloke."
A third said: "Stephanie Davis is one of the UK's best actors and I wish she was on our screens more. Hopefully with this stalker put away, she'll be able to concentrate on her work and get herself a cracking good role."
Speaking about the impact the ordeal had on her health, Stephanie told Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes: "It definitely had a big impact on my mental health. I struggle with my mental health anyway. When that happened my anxiety was through the roof, I couldn't relax. I was constantly having panic attacks, every time I heard a noise I was up panicking.
"I kept checking on Caben [son], I kept going in imagining he wasn't there. It was horrendous."
In November, it was reported that the crazed fan bombarded Stephanie with creepy gifts, which eventually led to her moving.
