Towie’s Chloe Brockett says new series has been delayed for ‘a good reason’ and teases cast trip abroad
CHLOE Brockett has revealed the new series of Towie has been delayed because the cast want to film without Covid restrictions.
The 21-year-old, who has been busy filming Celebs Go Dating, added that they were also hoping to film abroad this year so were waiting a bit longer until it was possible.
Taking part in a Q&A on Instagram, Chloe was quizzed about if the show was delayed.
She replied: “Yes but for a good reason. The season has been delayed because we want to film without Covid restrictions and be able to stand next to each other.
“We want to go on an away trip abroad and because television restrictions are a lot stricter to do that atm would be hard. So in a few months’ time it should be earlier.”
Towie usually films a special in Marbella, but for the last couple of years the pandemic has meant that wasn’t possible.
Last year the cast headed to the luxurious Sandbanks in Dorset for filming.
Chloe will be heading into the next series of the show single after failing to find love on Celebs Go Dating.
She admitted: "I don't think I've ever been more single.
"And I'm happy being single. I like my own company and focusing on myself, I don't want a boyfriend at the moment."
Chloe added: "My time on @celebsgodating taught me more about myself and my values than I could imagine x."
She may not have had any luck on her dates for the E4 show, but Chloe did spark something up with Made in Chelsea's Miles Nazaire who also took part in the series.
But in November The Sun revealed that Chloe had been left hurt after Miles cooled things off between them.
