Strictly’s Maisie Smith and Kai Widdrington caught getting cosy on tour – in moment set to make Nadiya Bychkova envious

STRICTLY COME DANCING star Kai Widdrington was seen getting cosy with his dance partner on the show's tour, Maisie Smith.

They were pictured in the same week that Kai, 26, and Nadiya Bychkova, 32, were caught kissing in a hotel - seemingly confirming rumours they were in a romance.

But EastEnders actress, Maisie, 20, has formed her own bond with the pro dancer, as these pics of them outside their hotel show.

She was paired with Kai on the tour after his partner on last year's series, AJ Odudu, injured her foot. 

Maisie danced on the show in 2020 with Gorka Márquez and was linked to fellow competitor Hrvy, 23. But their romance quickly fizzled out.

An onlooker said: "Kai and Maisie have had to get to know each other pretty quickly, but it's obvious that they've clearly developed a special rapport.

"They're both in their twenties and incredibly fun-loving, so they were always going to hit it off. 

"Plus there's the fact that they're both relative newcomers to the whole Strictly phenomenon, compared to other veterans of the show who've performed in multiple TV series and several tours."

Nadiya has been with the show for five years and reached the furthest in any series with her dance partner, Dan Walker, 44. 

Despite finishing fifth with the BBC Breakfast presenter, he isn't taking part in the tour.

She was pictured last week kissing Kai in a hotel in Newcastle where the live show had travelled to. The tour continues tomorrow night at the Sheffield Arena.
