Sacha and Donna are shocked to find out that Jason is being brought upstairs after getting caught in a horror car smash. 

The pair try to leave him to recover, while a selfless Jason can think of nothing but wife and daughter's welfare. 

When Jeong has to deliver the terrible news that Jason’s injuries are worse than they seemed initially, Donna promises to devote her attention to him even though she has a lot on her plate already. Will Jason pull through?

Nicky is haunted by Cameron

Cameron may be dead, but he still haunts Nicky. When Particia - the daughter of one of Cameron's victims - turns up on the wards, she's keen to share her thoughts on the doctor. 

Nicky is distressed when she overhears Patricia blasting her ability to do her job properly and proposes she should back away from the case.

However, after she’s asked to help save the patient’s life in theatre, will attitudes shift?

Jac puts her life in Nicky's hands

Jac recently learned that her once-benign brain tumour is now inoperable and will probably kill her. 

Her health is quickly deteriorating, making it a bigger challenge to hide the diagnosis from her Holby coworkers.  

Following a failed attempt to get Eli to operate on her, Jac comes to Nicky with a huge ask. 

The cardiothoracic surgeon convinces Nicky to push her fears aside and become the self-assured doctor she knows she can be, before discussing a life-altering procedure. Will Nicky step up?
