Piers Morgan in cheeky swipe at the BBC as Gary Lineker cooks him feast at his incredible London home
PIERS Morgan has made a cheeky swipe at the BBC as he had dinner with pal Gary Lineker at his incredible London home.
The television presenter revealed how the former footballer Gary hosted him for a home-cooked dinner as he hit out at the "BBC licence fee".
Piers, 56, took to Instagram with a series of snaps from his night in with Gary, 61 - who donned an apron as he cooked up prawns and a steak.
The former Good Morning Britain star smiled for a photo as he stood next to his pal in the kitchen, holding a glass of wine as he prepared to tuck into the food.
He shared snaps of Gary getting the food out the oven, as well as how the grub had been carefully plated and laid out in front of him on the table.
Piers used the meeting as an opportunity to throw shade at the BBC - as pal Gary is the long-standing presenter of Match Of The Day.
"Decided to finally get my BBC licence fee money out of Gary Lineker at his home last night," the TalkTV host captioned the Instagram post.
"I have to say, Chef Gaz delivered a quite delicious feast including Gambas al Ajillo and Fillet steak au poivre. Did everything himself and it was all perfectly cooked.
"Then he proudly showed off his golden boots, before the shock late Leicester result came through to ruin his evening. All in all, a most enjoyable soirée."
He jokingly concluded the post: "Definitely worth 43p!"

It comes days after Piers showed off his HUGE steak and £70 bottle of wine as he joked about ‘the most depressing day of the year'.
Taking to Instagram, The Sun columnist shared a snap of his delicious dinner with his 1.8million followers as he noted it was 'Blue Monday'.
Dominating the photograph was Piers' giant steak, surrounded by a salad garnish, huge field mushrooms and grilled tomatoes.
The dad-of-four, who was dining in The Scarsdale Tavern in London's Kensington, opted for a side dish of chips and a bottle of 2012 Chateau Batailley Grand Cru wine.
Writing next to his mouth-water post, Piers mused: "On Blue Monday a lot of happiness-inducing red. Fabulous meal at my fabulous local pub."
Fans were quick to comment on Piers photo, with one writing: "Well Deserved! Come And Rule Our TV Again."
Another added: "You know exactly what to chose Mr Morgan!! Good to see you back!"
Piers jetted into London on Saturday following a trip to the US, where he had visited his Beverly Hills villa.
The star is now preparing for the launch of talkTV, which will see him host his own primetime show.
